Boxes

Construction method is "frameless European" style, pre-bored and fastened with "confirmat" screws. Case ends are line-bored to accept drawer runner screws, door hinge plates, and adjustable shelf pins or clips.
Case ends, tops, and bottoms are 5/8" white melamine with a particle-board core. Fixed and adjustable shelves under 34" wide are also 5/8" white melamine. Fixed and adjustable shelves over 34" wide are 3/4" white melamine. Backs are 1/8" white tileboard except wall cabinet backs over 36" tall are 5/8" white melamine. "Hard rock" maple melamine is available as one upgrade option. 
Oven and microwave cases are 3/4" white melamine. Glass door case interiors are melamine or finished veneer to match door finish. Open shelf parts are wood-edgebanded veneer on medium density fiberboard to match door finish.

Door Hinges

Blum 110 degree clip-on style for regular applications. Specialized hinges for bevel corner, blind corner, and pocket door situations. Hinge material is nickel-plated steel.

Raised panel doors and finished ends

Five-piece construction is a 2 1/2" or 3" "cope and stick" frame with a beaded or ogee pattern. Panels are flat or raised. Flat panels are "reverse raised".  Raised panels are offered with a hip, beaded-hip, or coved shape and various edges (see samples). Drawer fronts can be shaped to match either the door panel or the door edge. All are finish sanded at 150 grit to 13/16" thickness.

Paint grade doors have a soft maple frame and a 5/8" fiberboard panel, and are primed after sanding. We offer other species  as an upgrade, made with solid wood frames and panels. Doors from other manufacturers are also offered.

Drawers

Five piece construction assembled with "confirmat" screws and various others. All pieces are 5/8" white or maple melamine. Drawer runners are Fulterer #FR2021, 75 pound load rating, self-closing with white expoxy finish. File hanger drawers and spice rack drawers have Accuride full extension runners, 100 lb. load rating (also available as an upgrade to any drawer).  Dovetailed drawers and concealed undermount runners are available as upgrade options.
